The Sleep Center's owner, Brent Spaulding, and team support Gainesville and Alachua County through an annual blanket drive and help for organizations including the Child Advocacy Center, Peaceful Paths, Wounded Warrior Project, the Gainesville Fisher House Foundation, The Arc of Alachua County, Buchholz High School athletics and the Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County.

Brent Spaulding, owner and operator of The Sleep Center Gainesville, is proud to call Gainesville home and cares for it just as much. Giving back whenever possible has been a founding principle. Here are some of the fine organizations we've been able to help because of you. If you're able, please contact them and get involved.

Annual Blanket Drive
Both showrooms are drop-off locations for the annual blanket drive, collecting clean blankets for young people, neighbors experiencing homelessness and others who need a warm layer.
Child Advocacy Center
Sherry Kitchens sent a heartfelt thank-you to our staff for donating mattresses to the center. We encourage other local businesses to support their work.
Florida Children's Medical Services
We provided financial help so 40 local children could have a merry Christmas.
Peaceful Paths
Executive Director Theresa Harrison wrote: “Seriously, this may be the BEST customer service experience I have had in Gainesville in 10 years. Brent and the staff were wonderful, and the prices were terrific. I love to support local business AND they are going to help Peaceful Paths with beds! Highly recommend!”
Wounded Warrior Project
Serving veterans and service members injured on or after September 11, 2001, and their families.
Gainesville Fisher House Foundation
Founded by the Veterans Services Committee of the Rotary Club of Gainesville to give military and veteran families a place to stay near care.
The Arc of Alachua County
Services, support and advocacy so people with developmental disabilities can participate fully in the community.
Buchholz High School Athletics
A positive influence on our community's young people, and one we proudly support.
Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County
Safe, positive places for local kids to learn and grow.
Girls Place, Inc.
Empowering girls to grow courageous, strong and self-sufficient.
