The right pillow matters as much as the mattress

The two keys to a great night's sleep are the right mattress and the right pillow. A pillow does more than feel soft: it keeps your head, neck and spine aligned. Step into the Pillow Palace at either showroom to explore pillows from firm to soft, low to high, and everything in between.

Tempur-Pedic pillows

Made from the same TEMPUR material as the mattresses, for adaptive support, pressure relief and shape that lasts. Choose by profile: the ProLo for stomach and back sleepers, the ProHi for side sleepers, or the ProAdjust to fine-tune the fill yourself. The Breeze versions add cooling.

Malouf pillows

Malouf pillows offer comfort for every type of sleeper. The CarbonCool LT + OmniPhase is a firm memory foam pillow with several cooling technologies that pull heat away from your head and neck. If you like to sink in, the Zoned ActiveDough uses cut columns of memory foam to cradle your head and neck.

Fitted by an expert

Lie down on your new mattress with two or three pillows. Our experts look at your neck alignment in your usual sleep position, because the right pillow depends on both your body and your mattress.

What pillow is best for side sleepers?

Side sleepers usually need a higher, firmer pillow to fill the space between the shoulder and head, such as the TEMPUR-Adapt ProHi.

What pillow is best for back or stomach sleepers?

Back sleepers often prefer a medium profile; stomach sleepers usually do best with a low, soft pillow such as the TEMPUR ProLo.

How often should I replace my pillow?

Many pillows should be replaced every one to two years; quality memory foam pillows often last longer. If you fold it in half and it stays folded, it's time.

Should my pillow match my mattress?

Yes. On a softer mattress your shoulder sinks in more, so you may need a lower pillow; on a firmer mattress, a slightly higher one.

Do you carry cooling pillows?

Yes. Ask about cooling pillows with breathable covers and heat-absorbing materials for people who sleep warm.
